Design Insight offers design/build services for residential or commercial architecture, renovations, additions, and interiors as well as smaller scale functional art. Whatever your size or type of project, we can help you visualize and realize your unique project. Design Insight offers a design/build all-inclusive approach, or the more traditional design-bid-contractor build. In either case, we extend one-on-one customer care and extensive levels of detail and craft.

Specific services include:

• Pre-design: initial meetings, sketching, measuring, photos, programming
• Schematic design: 3D rendering and/or physical modeling, preliminary CAD drawings, research
• Design development: Scaled AutoCAD drawings: plans, elevations, sections, etc.
• Construction drawings: detailed technical drawings and diagrams for building purposes
• Site observation: visiting and observing the construction site, meeting with contractors
• Construction management: coordination, correspondence and overseeing all aspects of the construction process
• Fabrication: In-house custom built products and/or interior casework and architecture

Design Insight will tailor a specific proposal outlining your project, approach, services and estimates. Usually, an overall budget is determined and worked from. We also work on a sliding scale monetarily depending on the size and complexity of the project. This varies from between $75–$95/hour for reference, but as a rule, Design Insight strives to work within your established budget.

In the end, our primary focus is creating beautifully functional solutions for your home, interior or commercial space.
