VFW Post 1540 in central IL called in DII to design and build a new bar, renovate offices, design a furniture layout, enhance the lighting, and better divide the various spaces – all while remaining handicap accessible. With minimal external windows, a light feeling was pushed using a cool tone color scheme, glass wall for the office, and sheathing the bar in lucite panels.
