Waterwall

This urban client commissioned DII to create multiple furniture and lighting pieces, but their main focal point was a new foyer area, which would define the space without confining it. After an existing wall was moved and lifted with a recessed steel base, a new entry space was created. The design is anchored by an elongated paver bed. By using custom color mortar, bamboo reeds, and backing it all by a 'water panel', the first impression of this unit really sets the tone for the rest of the home. The wall even can be used as a coat & hat rack!
