National Energy Systems Training

DII designed this living environment for a competition which called for a zero-waste, self-sufficient home that would not produce harmful effects to the environment. The space was designed like a tree, with a root structure holding the geothermal systems, a structural trunk/branches, and an exterior with a light, breathable skin that leaves the existing site largely untouched.
